What our services can help with?
Types of services and Pricing
Each of the services and treatment sessions are geared towards what works best for the child and for the family. Feeding therapy should be fun, help to eliminate stress, and help to bring joy to food again. With that there is no set timeline for every child and during the initial evaluation we will determine what works best for both the child and the family in terms of how many days a week services are recommended, how long, and for what expected duration.
Initial evaluation
Thorough evaluations are conducted to evaluate developmental skill levels including exploring oral motor skills, completion of developmentally appropriate activities, a feeding diary, sensory processing, fine motor skills, bilateral coordination, sensorimotor, mealtime behaviors, and overall development. Individual evaluations are also to answer any questions parents have, review the history of each child, discuss the environment and difficulties which the parents have observed, and conduct assessments.

Group sessions out in the community or with multiple familioes are very beneficial for children, particularly those between ages 5-9 years old. Many times children will learn form peer modeling, or will want to try things they see their peers engaging with. Thse sessions will be 45 mintues with a short debrief at the end.
